In January of 2010, the Milwaukee Church of Christ hosted a “What is Success” Conference with Speech and Mike Patterson, Lead Evangelist of the GACC.  In short, it was an amazing time of inspiration and growth for the MCoC family, including 14 baptisms in the three months that followed.  Seven of our new brothers and sisters were first-time visitors at the conference! We've had 17 baptisms and 2 restorations so far this year.  This is more growth in one period of time than I've seen in my 12 years as a Christian here in Milwaukee. I'm most encouraged by our answered prayer of building a stronger urban ministry as most of the new brothers and sisters are African American folks from the community. God is clearly working powerfully through our brother Speech and Mike Patterson!
