Men in White
Men In White has been extremely successful in helping men throughout the entire state of Georgia be free from the chains of sexual impurity and gain victory through God's power!
"It's God's will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable." -1 Thessalonians 4:3-4
For men living with a sexual addiction, this scripture sounds impossible! Countless brothers have diligently studied purity scriptures and gotten their fill of discipling, while others have fervently prayed for God to deliver them from their "affliction". Many feel like they have tried everything, but they can't seem to be pure. The world doesn't help either. Here are some disturbing facts:
*Pornographic videos, escort services, sex clubs, phone sex, pay-per-view cable, internet porn, and novelties generate $57 billion worldwide and $12 billion in the United States! That's more revenue than the professional football, baseball and basketball market combined!
*47% of christians say pornography is a major problem in their home.
*12% of existing websites contain pornography
*25% of search engine requests are for pornography.
*8% of e-mails contain porn.
*20% of men polled admit to looking at porn sites at work.
*10% of adults admit they are addicted to internet pornography!
These numbers are from those that were actually honest. This was a way of life for many of us before Christ and it has been overwhelming in trying to break the chain of sexual addiction. Marriages, careers, and people's very lives have been destroyed and bowed to the god of sexual addiction, but, THERE IS HOPE!
Every week, a purity group called Men In White meet to help each other overcome sex addiction. We invite all men (Christian or not) to come this Wednesday night as we get to know each other and let ourselves be known, so the scripture can hold true for us that says:
"Thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness" -Romans 6:17-18
