Ministry of Prayer

The GACC family is devoted to praying for these specific needs in 2010 (Acts 2:42):

1. Young Christians - With over 50 souls saved in 2009, please pray they will all stay faithful and grow to maturity.

2. One-Another Relationships - The GACC is focusing on building family by way of healthy spiritual relationships.

3. Bermuda - God is using Alex Butterfield to lead the way in spreading the gospel on that island. He is in need of disciples with the heart of missionaries to visit Bermuda or provide funds for others to go and help build a dynamic ministry to the glory of God.

4. Leaders - The brothers and sisters who lead the GACC and other ministries around the world need your prayers. It is our dream that everyone who wants to know Jesus can be part of a healthy, growing ministry wherever they live.

Prayer Requests

Hi church family!  This is Novia Caswell asking the church for advice and help.  I have a coworker who I have been reaching out to who recently lost her brother two days ago.  She saw him in the morning and later that day got a call that they found his body at her moms house.  The entire family, especially her mom is taking it very hard.  They are still trying to find out what happened.  I wanted the brothers and sisters  to please pray for Katie Starks and her entire family as well as their financial situation.  Katie’s brother didn’t have any insurance so they are trying to find a way to cover the expenses of the funeral.  I don’t know if there is anything that we can do as a church outside of praying, but your advice would be very much appreciated.  Thank you.

Hello everyone,

I know all of you have been very concerned about Haiti and eager to help.  God has certainly been gracious in providing some relief in the midst of this catastrophe for our brothers and sisters there. I was finally able to communicate with a brother in Haiti via email.  Here is what he told me:

1) There are about 50 disciples who are on the church's property-they have been staying there, eating and sleeping as they say "a la belle etoile" out in the open.  There are also a good number of non disciples on the church's property and the disciples are sharing with them whatever food they have. The atmosphere has been calm.

2) The needs are as follows:

  • Clean drinking Water
  • Food
  • Blankets
  • Tents
  • Clothing

Those who are on the church's property have lost everything.

3) We can send stuff to the church's property.  The address is:

Eglises Internationales De Christ-Haiti

Rue Audant # 7 Bis (Next to the Police Precint and across from the Park)

Canape Vert, Haiti

Goods can be addressed to the following individuals: Jorel and Junie Claude (Lead Evangelist and Women's ministry leader) Anael and Andhrale Hyppolite (Hope coordinator) Jerry Jean-Pierre (Church administrator)   I also found out that UPS is shipping anything under 50lbs to Haiti for free.

I did raise the concern for safety with Rodely.  Could things get out of hand with people flooding to the church's property once they figure out that the disciples have received supplies?  Rodely said that all of yesterday the disciples and non disciples sat together and ate peacefully sharing whatever they had.  I aslo asked him to ask the church leaders to go to the police and ask them for their protection and security as they organize the church property into a relief center.

Thanks again for your prayers, concern and support. Please spread the word.

Love,

Stanley Dumornay
